Can you block game requests on facebook

And you will no longer receive notifications from said game. Do this once for each game. To the right of the name of the game, you will find an arrow-down button. Click on it to see a dropdown menu. Pick any of the option above. I usually go with Option 3.

Note that you will have to do this for each and every game, one at a time. This is for those who have too many invites from too many games from too many friends. The fastest way to get rid of all this drama is to block those invites in one go.

On your Facebook main page, go to the far right at your top menu bar. Click on the dropdown arrow and click on Settings. On the left sidebar, choose Blocking and you will be taken to the Manage blocking section. To Block app invites from someone, go to that section third from the top and type in his or her name. You will no longer receive app invites from that person. The field autocompletes too so you can take a stab at what the game name contains like Candy or Ville or Pirate, and click the app to single it out.

So far so good? I come in peace, and a proposition. Log into Facebook and open the Settings page. Open the Blocking page. Click it to open the blocking tools. Enter the name of the person who keeps sending you game requests.

As you type a name, a list of potential matches will appear. Click the name and that person will be added to the block list. Enter the name of the game and select it from the matching results. Blocking apps will disable the app from contacting you or getting non-public information about you through Facebook. Also double check what information the app is requesting from your profile see red arrow below as some apps are not worth using if they request too much of your profile information — or that of your friends.

I hope this helps alleviate some frustrations for the non-game-playing Facebookers out there and keeps your Friend list intact.
