I did this recently and I want to share what came up for me with you. After spending the summer in Italy and enjoying some travel where I allowed myself simply just to be, which is so nurturing for my spirit and my soul, I sat down and did some reflecting on why I actually do what I do. I want to educate as many people as possible in what a life of authentic empowerment looks like and encourage people to really live with all their senses.

Bringing children up with all of their six senses is something I wish mothers and fathers did. My ideal vision is living what might be described as a holistic lifestyle, where a life with a meaningful and fulfilling approach using all of your senses would be the total normality.

For me, this is my big WHY. And I would like to empower and lead and educate everybody who has that goal too. I hope by sharing my big WHY, it will help you feel inspired to reflect and remember yours.

Breathe in to the count of 4, hold your breath for 4, and exhale to the count of 8. The coronavirus outbreak shows it is time to start thinking of ourselves as part of something bigger - while also respecting the individual. There are many ways to be happy, but we can also find comfort in the knowledge that our constant dissatisfaction is what makes us human. Some argue humans lack the altruism and long-term thinking that is needed to deal with the climate crisis.

So how can you stay motivated? The way to measure your worth may just be to give more than you take. What do you want your life to be in 5 years? Write down 5-year goals. What can you do today to improve? Consistent, incremental improvement is the secret to achieving the greatest of feats.

What questions must you consider before starting a business? Whenever there is an opportunity cost, I have my team go through this exercise. What are we talking about? What problem are we solving? I try to start off every meeting by putting this on the whiteboard.

In group settings we too often we find ourselves having completely different conversations. Can you get it done now?

If something is important or urgent and you can get it done now, do it. What do you need to make it happen?

This is one of my favorite questions to ask as a manager. It creates ownership to make sure the goals will be achieved. And it creates a shared responsibility to provide the resources required time, money, talent, etc. If we could wave a magic wand and do anything together, what would that look like? I use this question all the time with potential business partners.
